1.Presidential Selection
2.Electors chosen in each state by the manner of the state's choosing.
3.A tie in elections is sent to the house which eventually chose Thomas Jefferson as president.
4.12th amendment separated the elections of president and vice president.
5. National convention is called every 4 years to officially nominate presidential candidates.
6.Primaries began in the early 1900s as a reaction to party boss dominated politics.
7.Delegate selection process began a winner takes all.
8.Caucuses-a closed meeting of a political party which gather to select delegates to the national convention.
9.Convention schedule Day 2- Adapt platform and keynote address.
10.Typically the current president is nominated.
