Its seems, according to my stats, that I am more liberal than anything. A liberal is someone who is open to new behavior or opinions and willing to discard traditional values. Being liberal does explain myself because I wouldn't mind seeing new things happen in the U.S. that wouldn't be considered "traditional". If we make some changes maybe we can actually help our country for a change instead of just running it more and more into debt. I don't just want a change We need a change!

Respnse to my grandchild

I have made a difference by helping many people in both big ways and small ways. When I was younger  I read a variety of books from dramas, romances, actions, and suicides. From those books I have learned that not matter what you may be going through, always smile because someone's life may be worse than yours. So, grandchild, I have made a difference by smiling at strangers. Letting them know what someone cares. Though I may not know what going on in your life, I care enough about you to smile as we pass on the street. Always smile, you never know who looking.

BR- 9/11/13

read the article and then write a five sentence response to what you feel about privacy versus security.

Just as Robert Ford said in the articel, if the government really is protecting us as citizen and not telling us, I'm all for that. But if it's just to see what we do and say in social media, thats an invasion of privacy and is against the law. I understand that the government has the right to hack into our social media accounts, but why keep it from us? To be honest, it was probably stated in the Terms and Condition of social media webstes but no one ever reads thouse. Put in it GIANT red font on its own page that appears as you sign us for said social websites.

BR 9/9/13

1. Does the US have a responsibility to be a world police force?
We should't be worrying about countries that are bombing their own county. We should only become a police force if someone does something to us.

2. What roll should the UN play in enforcement?
They should know when it's the right time to get involved in "war-like" curcumstances, they should't just go looking for a fight. Let someone do something to us first then we can come back on them hard and heavy.

3. Why are chemical weapons of such concern to the world?
Because they can distroy not only many lives but the evnvironmnet around those lives.

2. What do the father's action show?
The fathers actions show that he has a little bit of an anger issue and that he really isnt a good dad.

3. Would this have been acceptable in the 1950s?
I'm not too sure if it would be acceptable back then, but if the teachers were able to discipline their studetns physically, then maybe the parents were able to too.

BR- 8/30/13

I dont think it was right for the restaurant manager to refuse the african american family service just becasue one person was felling "theatened". In my opinion if  someone feels threatened by being in public with a high number of negro citizens, then maybe they should advoid situstions in which this happens if possible. But I do think it was respectful for the chief marketing officer offered the family an apology and meals all around.

"I have a dream" Assignment civics 5th period.

"Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood."

What I thing Dr. King meant when he said this quote was that the negro poulation need to be given the promises that the were supposed to have  one hundred years ago. If whites and negros could live to gether in peace and brotherhood, he believed the U.S would be a better place. If you refect on the past life of  the negro population and the look at the U.S now, you can see he was obviously right.

BR- 8/29/13

In Dr. King's speach he lectures about how all man of America deserve to be treated the same as well as given the same rights. King believe that the Negro was being exiled on his own land. Dr. King was tired of segregation and he believed that (and I quote) "There will be neither rest nor tranquility in America until the Negro is granted his citizenship rights." He couldn't stress enough that all men are created equal. He wanted slaves and slave owners to be able to sit together in peace and brothhood. He wanted his children and his grandchildren to not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the conduct of their character. He refused to believe that the "Bank Of Justice" is bankrupt, he knew that their was still so many oppurtunities for negros and white to accomplish together, not separate.

BR- 8/27/13

1. Should the two boys be tried as adults? why or why not?
Yes, they should be tried as adults because the committed a very terrible crime. As my personal belief if someone murdurs someone else the should have their lives taken away to, spent in prison or on death row, I mean. A life for a life.

2. Should their identity remain undisclosed or since the crime is heinous? justify your answer?
I dont think they should because the people in the family and community of the victem deserve to know who took their loved one, friend, or neighbor away from them.

3. What can we as a society do to keep crimes like this from happening?
In a way, I don't think we can keep crimes like this from happening all together, but as a society we are about to educate other about why these things shouldn't happen and why legal action should be taken.
